Component Remanufacturing A major facet of our repair capabilities is the rebuilding of Twin Disc torque converter components to factory specifications and tolerances. This process involves remanufacturing all major components of the torque converter including the impeller wheel, the turbine assembly, and the torque converter housing. Great Lakes Power is the only Twin Disc factory authorized reblade facility in the nation and offers an exchange program to minimize equipment downtime. Following a repair, each assembly is thoroughly tested on our custom-built test stands at prescribed temperatures and pressures to ensure manufacturer's specifications are met.
